HOW TO ADOPT
Step 1: We encourage you to meet our animals in person to get to know them, or to contact us via email or phone to learn more about the animal(s) you are interested in.
Step 2: Once you have decided on a pet, submit an adoption application. We will then verify information and contact references.
Step 3: We will contact you once we've finished processing your application.
Step 4: Fill out an adoption contract in person during counseling with one of our adoption coordinators on adoption day.
Step 5: Pay adoption fee.
Step 6: Take your new furry family member home!
Adoption Fees
Most cats and kittens may be adopted for a fee of $95 ($90 if you pay with cash or check,) which includes spay/neuter, rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipping, FeLV/FIV test, and deworming.
Most dogs over one year old may be adopted for a fee of $185 ($175 if you pay with cash or check.) Most puppies under one year old may be adopted for a fee of $260 ($250 if you pay with cash or check). Most senior dogs may be adopted for a fee of $160 ($150 if you pay with cash or check.) Dog and puppy adoption fees include neuter/spay, rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipping, heartworm test, and deworming.
Occasionally, an animal’s adoption fee may differ from the fees listed due to extenuating circumstances.
Adoption fees for PALS animals go directly either to medical care for those or other furkids in need, or towards maintenance and improvement of our shelter!
Out-of-state Adoptions
We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive or fly all the way to pick up your new family member.
